Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Almost Done Dating ("we," "us"). By submitting an application, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy at almostdonedating.com/privacy.
1. The service
Almost Done Dating is a human-led matchmaking service. It is currently a free, invitation-based pilot. We do not charge you anything. If we introduce fees in the future, we will tell you first, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
2. Who can apply
To apply, you must:
- be at least 21 years old;
- be ready and available to pursue a committed relationship; and
- give truthful information about yourself.
Anyone in the United States may apply. The service currently makes introductions in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, so applicants elsewhere may be placed on a waitlist.
3. Applications and acceptance
A person reviews every application. We may accept, waitlist or decline any application at our discretion. Applying does not guarantee acceptance, membership, an introduction, compatibility, a relationship or any other outcome.
4. Your responsibilities
- Keep your information accurate and tell us when something important changes.
- Respond to introductions we offer, either to accept or to decline.
- Treat everyone you are introduced to with respect. Harassment, threats, deception and pressure are not allowed.
- Use what you learn about another person only for the introduction. Do not share it with others or post it publicly.
- Do not use the service to sell or promote anything.
5. Safety
We do not run criminal background checks. We do not verify applicants' identities or the information they give us. We do not guarantee the identity, character, conduct or safety of anyone you are introduced to.
You are responsible for your own judgment and safety. We encourage you to meet in public places, tell someone you trust where you will be, and arrange your own transportation. Report any concern about another person to hello@almostdonedating.com. In an emergency, call 911.
6. Introductions and dates
We suggest introductions; you decide whether to accept them and whether to meet. You are responsible for your own interactions, communications and expenses with anyone you meet. We are not a party to those interactions.
7. Messages from us
If you gave permission on the application, we may contact you by email, phone call or text message about your application and the matchmaking services you requested. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. We do not send marketing messages.
8. Leaving or being removed
You may withdraw at any time by emailing hello@almostdonedating.com. We may pause or end your participation if you break these terms, give inaccurate information, stop responding, or raise a safety or conduct concern, or if we stop offering the service. How we handle your information afterward is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Privacy
The Privacy Policy at almostdonedating.com/privacy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
10. No warranties
The service is provided as it is and as it is available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about results, availability or the conduct of other people.
11. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the conduct of anyone you meet through the service, or for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Because the service is free, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Denton County, Texas.
13. Changes to these terms
We will post any update here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will email you before it takes effect. If you continue taking part after the change takes effect, the updated terms apply.
